Coil Feeders use mechanical pinch rolls, pneumatic pinch rolls, hydraulic pinch rolls, and straightening rolls to feed stamping presses. Servo roll feeds are used in applications requiring unlimited feed lengths.

Compact Coil lines manufactured by Rowe© are designed specifically to handle coil stock in a space-saving footprint. The compact coil line incorporates a motorized uncoiler, servo controlled straightener/feeder and an optional coil-loading car all mounted in a spacesaving footprint. This compact coil line provides coil material loading, uncoiling, straightening and feeding while only requiring 14' of floor space. Because the material is straightened at the entrance to the press, no looping pit is required.

The benefit is faster and easier set-up, automated stacking, and material handling, faster material changeover and tight tolerances for the highest quality blanks and greater productivity.

ROWE's coil stock reels and uncoilers range in capacity from 4,000 LBS. to 60,000 LBS. We offer two distinct styles of mandrel expansion for our coil reels; our standard hydraulic expansion and our original mechanical screw-type expansion. Our coil reels offer years of dependable service in the toughest of environments.

Rowe © offers two distinct designs of expansion, based on coil capacity, to meet your coil handling needs: the (3) Arm Link Pin Series, (4K to 10K Load Rating) and the Heavy Duty Sliding Wedge Series.

ROWE started in the coil handling business in 1950 with its very first "Easy Load" coil cradle, the "800 J" Series. Today, we still offer our coil cradles in a variety of coil capacities.

Since coil cradles are not ideal in all applications, especially when processing surface-critical or thin gauge materials, please refer to the following reference chart to determine whether a coil cradle is right for your specific application.
